BAMBOO WATER SAVING FOUNTAIN

In 2020, when I was in 4th grade, I designed and built a 'Bamboo Water-Saving Fountain' - as a solution to efficiently use the overflow water from our water tanks. Instead of wasting this water, I created a system where the excess water could be redirected to water plants in our garden.

The fountain was made using bamboo, which is both eco-friendly and sustainable. By carving and assembling the bamboo pieces, I developed a natural flow system that allowed the water to trickle down and hydrate the plants automatically. This project helped me understand the importance of resource conservation and how small innovations can make a big difference in protecting our environment.

I was proud to receive the *Little Innovator Award* for this project, which further encouraged my passion for science, innovation, and sustainable living. This experience taught me how creative thinking can lead to practical solutions, and I’m excited to keep exploring new ways to make a positive impact on our world.
